Weekend

Arched Art spent the weekend at the Rustbelt to Artist Belt conference right here in St. Louis. I and many others attended various speakers and sessions on art’s necessity, potential, and impact on both local communities and on an international scope.  Presenters imparted creative ideas on how to implement and weave the arts into the fabric of our everyday lives and into our communities.

Did you go? What did you think? Please do comment and share!

A senior printmaking major at Washington University helps me to a assemble-my-own print at the junior printmaking major's gallery show on Cherokee St. Galleries, shops, and other venues were open late and serving up art and culture to close out the Rustbelt to Artist Belt Conference.

The Rustbelt to Artist Belt conference ended with a party on Cherokee Street. The Third-Year Class of Printmakers had a gallery show and were doing free, assemble-your-own prints.
